It’s always like this with designer pieces: the wish to give is there, and then comes the list of things you can’t get right on your own. What colour would she wear — copper, black, marsala? Which design suits her? And, with a ring, her finger size, which you can only find out by spoiling the surprise.
The KUBOLAB Gift Card hands those decisions back to the person who will wear the piece.
It isn’t “I didn’t know what to get you”
With a designer piece, choosing is part of receiving: colour completely changes an object’s character, and a ring made in your size is different from one that more or less fits. Giving that choice is giving the best part.
Each amount buys a whole piece
- R$ 90 — a pair of earrings
- R$ 96 — a ring, made in her size
- R$ 120 — a brooch
- R$ 140 — the Kubos necklace
- R$ 170 — the Metaball necklace
- R$ 240 — a sculptural necklace: Chunk, Cipó, Vértice or Ouriço
- R$ 350 — the Coil necklace
- R$ 420 — the largest pieces: Supercoil or Amendoim
You know exactly what you’re giving — and so does she.
How it works
You choose the amount and receive the card by email, to send whenever you like. The recipient uses it on the website, chooses whatever she wants and enters her ring size at checkout — the ring is printed in her size. If there’s money left over, it stays on the card. If the piece costs more, she pays the difference.
About KUBOLAB
Designer pieces 3D-printed in São Paulo, in PLA from a renewable plant source — not derived from petroleum. Each design is produced in batches of one or two per colour, which means she won’t run into her piece on someone else.
FAQ
How does the card arrive?
By email, right after payment is confirmed. You forward it when the moment is right — a birthday, Christmas, whenever.
Does it work for a ring? I don’t know her size.
It does, and that’s exactly what it’s for. She chooses her size at checkout, from 12 to 24, and the ring is made to fit her.
What if the piece costs more than the card?
She pays the difference at checkout.
And if it costs less?
The balance stays on the card for a future purchase.
Can it be used on any piece on the website?
Yes, on any product, in any category.
Details
Is this plastic?
It doesn't come from petroleum. The piece is printed in PLA, a plant-based polymer — the same material across all of the studio's production.
Can it get wet?
Best not. Take the piece off to wash your hands, shower or swim, and leave it out of the pool and the beach. Store it dry, away from sunlight.
Can it take heat?
Up to 50 °C. Above that, PLA softens — the dashboard of a closed car in the sun goes over 60 °C, so don't leave the piece there.
Do you ship outside Brazil?
For now, the website only ships to addresses in Brazil. For an order from abroad, write to studio@kubolab.com.br or message us on WhatsApp: we arrange shipping and payment case by case.
