Made to order. Printed for you before shipping, in the order of the studio queue.

A two-tone designer ring that weighs 5 grams. The pointed copper petals open over a black base, and the two colours are neither paint nor plating: they are two materials printed together, in the same piece, in the same pass. It can’t peel, because there is no layer on top of anything.

In metal, this contrast would take two soldered pieces — and the weight of two pieces. Here it costs 5 grams, lighter than a coin. It’s a difference you feel when you gesture, when you write, when you rest your hand on a table.

The form. The KUBOLAB flower isn’t decorative: the petals are the structure. Each one rises from the base at the angle that holds it up, and the gap between them exists because the piece needs it — that is where the light enters and draws the shadow that gives the whole its volume. Remove one petal and the form collapses.

For those who wear a ring as a statement, not as a band. The Flor has presence, reads best alone on a single finger, and suits someone who dresses in neutrals and wants one strong colour. It’s for anyone who has noticed that a big metal ring gets uncomfortable after two hours — this one doesn’t.

Made in your size. It isn’t an off-the-shelf, one-size piece: you choose your ring size, from 12 to 24, and it is printed for your hand. Ready in 1 business day.

What is your ring size?

Measure across the knuckle, not the base of the finger. It’s the most common mistake: people measure the base, order the right size for the base, and the ring won’t go over the knuckle. The ring has to pass the widest point — and that point is the knuckle.

With string or a strip of paper: wrap it around the knuckle at its widest point, mark where it meets and lay it flat on a ruler. That measurement in millimetres is the circumference, and the size chart converts it into a ring size.

Using a ring that already fits: measure the inside diameter, from edge to edge on the inside, in millimetres.

Measure at the end of the day — fingers swell during the day and in the heat. Between two sizes, choose the larger one. And if your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, the ring will be a little loose at the base: that’s normal, it’s the price of getting it on.

Still unsure? Choose the closest size and order with confidence: if it’s wrong, we exchange it once, at no cost for the piece.

FAQ

Is it plastic?

It’s PLA, a polymer made from a renewable plant source — it doesn’t come from petroleum. That is what lets a piece with this much volume weigh so little.

If it’s biodegradable, will it fall apart over time?

No. PLA only breaks down in industrial composting, under controlled heat and humidity. In a drawer and in everyday wear, it is stable for years.

How do I know my size?

Measure the knuckle with a piece of string, at its widest point — not the base. The full guide is on this page.

What if I get the size wrong?

We exchange it once: we print a new piece in the right size, at no cost for the piece. You only pay shipping both ways.

How long does it take?

Every ring is made in your size and is ready in 1 business day.

Can it get wet?

Better not. Take it off to wash your hands and shower, and keep it away from pools and the sea.

My size isn’t among the options.

We make sizes 12 to 24 — a wider range than most brands, precisely because larger sizes are hard to find. If yours is outside that range, talk to us.

Are the two colours painted?

No. They are two different filaments printed in the same piece. It isn’t paint or plating, so it doesn’t peel or fade with wear.

Details

How do I find my ring size?

Measure across the knuckle, not the base of the finger: the knuckle is what the ring has to pass. The size guide gives the Brazilian ABNT NBR 16058 sizes, 12 to 24, with approximate US equivalents (about US 6 to 10¾).

What if I get the size wrong?

We exchange it once, with a new piece and no charge for the piece. Shipping both ways is on you.

How long until it leaves the studio?

Rings are always printed to order, in your size: one business day until dispatch.

Is this plastic?

It doesn't come from petroleum. The piece is printed in PLA, a plant-based polymer — the same material across all of the studio's production.

Can it get wet?

Best not. Take the piece off to wash your hands, shower or swim, and leave it out of the pool and the beach. Store it dry, away from sunlight.

Can it take heat?

Up to 50 °C. Above that, PLA softens — the dashboard of a closed car in the sun goes over 60 °C, so don't leave the piece there.

Do you ship outside Brazil?
