7 centimetres, 15 grams, and no holes in your clothes. The Meduza is the most expansive brooch in the collection — extensions leaving a core in every direction, taking up far more visual space than real space.

The clasp is magnetic: one magnet on each side of the fabric, no pin. That’s what lets you wear a piece this size on silk or fine jersey without damaging anything.

For those who want the piece at the centre. A Meduza on the shoulder or the lapel makes any other accessory unnecessary. It’s for someone who dresses in neutrals and focuses attention on a single point.

The formal principle. The system starts from radial proliferation: extensions growing from a centre, distributed in angular balance. At brooch scale, that expansion has room to happen — the same logic as the Meduza ring and earring, here unrestrained.

FAQ

Is it plastic?
It’s PLA, a polymer made from a renewable plant source — it doesn’t come from petroleum. That is what lets a 7-centimetre brooch weigh 15 grams.

Will it make holes in my clothes?
No. The clasp is magnetic: one magnet sits inside the piece and another behind the fabric. You can wear it on silk, fine jersey and knitwear without leaving a mark.

Does it hold well?
Yes, on fabrics of normal weight. On very thick fabric — a heavy wool coat, leather — the distance between the magnets increases and the hold weakens.

I have a pacemaker. Can I wear it?
The piece contains a magnet. Anyone with a pacemaker or defibrillator should consult their doctor first.

If it’s biodegradable, will it fall apart over time?
No. PLA only breaks down in industrial composting, under controlled heat and humidity. In a drawer and in everyday wear, it is stable for years.

How long until it arrives?
If it’s in stock, it ships the same day. Made to order, it’s ready in 1 to 3 business days.

Details

Will it make holes in my clothes?

No. The brooch closes with magnets: one part sits on top of the fabric and the other underneath.

I have a pacemaker. Can I wear it?

The clasp is magnetic. If you have a pacemaker or another implanted device, talk to your doctor first.

How long until it leaves the studio?

Ready-to-ship pieces leave as soon as payment is confirmed. Made-to-order pieces take one to three business days.

Is this plastic?

It doesn't come from petroleum. The piece is printed in PLA, a plant-based polymer — the same material across all of the studio's production.

Can it get wet?

Best not. Take the piece off to wash your hands, shower or swim, and leave it out of the pool and the beach. Store it dry, away from sunlight.

Can it take heat?

Up to 50 °C. Above that, PLA softens — the dashboard of a closed car in the sun goes over 60 °C, so don't leave the piece there.
